Yasaman Torabi

Yasaman Torabi was born in Tehran, Iran. She graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in Healthcare Management. She is currently working as a healthcare strategy consultant. During her time at CMU she has lead the Persian Student Organization with activities focused on promoting Iranian culture through various events.

Yasaman is passionate about event planning and exploring the restaurant scene in multiple cities.

Hossein Pourmatin

Hossein Pourmatin

Hossein Pourmatin was born in Tehran, Iran. He got his Ph.D. degree in Computational Mechanics from Carnegie Mellon University. He is currently working as a quantitative analyst in the financial industry. Hossein had been the vice president of the Persian Student Organization at CMU, planning and executing events for Iranians in Pittsburgh area.

Hossein’s hobby is photography of nature and portrait.

Behdad Beheshti

Behdad Beheshti

Behdad Beheshti was born in Tehran, Iran. He got his Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. After graduation, he started as a mortgage analyst in the financial industry. Behdad served as the president of Persian Panthers – Iranian student organization at the University of Pittsburgh; planning multiple events and organizing the efforts of the organization.

Behdad spends most of his free time playing soccer and reading about news and trends.

All three leaders below are very excited to kick-off the Dallas chapter and create an opportunity for Iranian Young Professionals in DFW area to find a community to network, share ideas and make friends.
